Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open communication and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent and associate interactions; ensure pet safety; maintain store standards; conduct compliance walks; manage inventory and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and community initiatives.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management experience, strong leadership in high-volume environments, pet industry knowledge, financial acumen, and expertise in team development.
