Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop, and recognize associates; handle reviews, grievances, and succession planning; build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, optimize processes, and partner on events like adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and motivation, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets.
