Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop, and recognize associates; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
• Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and parents; manage pet parent interactions; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory, events, and compliance; review cameras for safety.
• Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze metrics and root causes; communicate objectives; handle openings/closings and pet emergencies.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team building, operational efficiency, problem-solving, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment with flexible scheduling.
