Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive oversight of store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, and deliver exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; foster open communication and high engagement through recognition and feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions, events, and compliance with policies via monthly walks and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, inventory control, and operational efficiency; analyze performance and cascade objectives to the team.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and motivation, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets.
