Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion company culture, drive targeted outcomes, and ensure exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open-door culture and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions; ensure safe, healthy environments for pets; conduct safety walks; manage inventory and compliance; partner on community events.
- Operations & Financials: Drive operational efficiency; monitor cameras for safety; communicate objectives; respond to pet health issues immediately.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong people skills, operational expertise, and passion for pets. Key skills include team building, customer service excellence, financial acumen, and compliance management. Experience in pet retail is a plus.
