Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, terminations; build open-door culture; create schedules; facilitate development, reviews, recognition, and succession planning.
- Store Experience: Lead associate/pet parent interactions; ensure pet safety; respond to concerns; improve processes; conduct Core/Services Walks; prioritize safety and inventory; review cameras for coaching.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategy for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoption groups.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet care knowledge. Must excel in delegation, feedback response, compliance, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.
