Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key metrics, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture with high engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for associates, pets, and customers; manage pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; oversee opening/closing procedures.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; optimize inventory; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoption initiatives.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, and operational acumen. Pet industry knowledge is a plus. Must excel in delegation, problem-solving, and fostering empowerment while ensuring compliance and safety.

- Manage inventory, scheduling, and compliance with policies and procedures
- Conduct store walks, camera reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
