Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, and deliver exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, reviews, training, and succession planning. Foster an open-door culture, address grievances, and celebrate team achievements.
• Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers. Manage pet parent interactions, conduct monthly walks, monitor cameras, and maintain compliance with policies.
• Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance, optimize inventory, and lead events with community partners like adoption groups.
