Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial outcomes, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, conduct reviews, and foster engagement through open-door culture and recognition.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; handle pet parent concerns; lead events; maintain standards via walks and camera reviews; manage inventory and openings/closings.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; improve processes continuously.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and development, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pet care. Key skills include delegation, conflict resolution, compliance enforcement, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.
