Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion service excellence, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, reviews, training, and succession planning. Build an open-door culture, address grievances, and celebrate team achievements.
• Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain standards via monthly walks, manage inventory, review cameras for compliance, and handle sick pets or emergencies.
• Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, optimize processes, partner on events, and communicate objectives to drive results.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership to empower teams, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Proficiency in operations, compliance, and associate development is essential. Flexibility for varied schedules required.
