Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, drive strategies for exceptional service, and ensure efficient daily execution while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster an open-door culture and respond to feedback.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent and associate experiences; ensure pet safety; resolve concerns; conduct monthly walks; maintain inventory and compliance; prioritize safety via camera reviews and incident response.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; collaborate on events and community partnerships.
Experience & Skills
