Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, deliver reviews, and build an open-door culture using Voice of Associate feedback.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets; handle escalated concerns; lead events; conduct Core and Services Walks; review cameras for safety; manage openings/closings.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; optimize inventory; communicate objectives; improve processes continuously.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong people skills, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Key skills include team building, customer service, operations execution, compliance, and adaptability in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling is essential.
