Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, handle reviews, grievances, and foster engagement through recognition and open communication.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory, events, and compliance.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, cascade objectives, review cameras for safety, and respond to sick/injured pets.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership to build high-performing teams, customer service passion, operational acumen, and pet care knowledge. Skills in financial analysis, scheduling, mentoring, and process improvement are essential. Flexible availability required.
