Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, drive targeted outcomes, and ensure exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions; ensure pet safety; conduct monthly walks; maintain inventory; review cameras for compliance.
- Operations & Finance: Execute daily business efficiently; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoptions; prioritize safety.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, and operational savvy. Pet care passion is a plus. Must excel in coaching, conflict resolution, financial oversight, and fostering engagement in dynamic environments.
