Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; deliver exceptional service in-store, online, and by phone; conduct safety walks, manage inventory, review cameras, and handle sick pets.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategy for profitability; analyze performance, improve processes, partner on events, and communicate objectives.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Must thrive in dynamic environments, delegate effectively, and prioritize safety/compliance. Flexible availability required.
