Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for people and pet safety, customer experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion pet parent service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory and compliance; review cameras for safety.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; execute corporate strategies; partner on events and adoptions; maintain standards and respond to business changes.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, communication, problem-solving, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.
