Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion service excellence, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; conduct reviews, recognize achievements, and resolve grievances to build an engaged team.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; deliver outstanding pet parent service in-store, online, and via phone; lead events and compliance walks.
- Business Management: Analyze performance, execute strategies for profitability, manage inventory, communicate objectives, and prioritize safety through audits and rapid response to issues.
Experience & Skills
