Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; handle reviews, grievances, and engagement initiatives.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions; conduct compliance walks and camera reviews; oversee openings/closings.
- Business Management: Analyze performance, execute strategies for profitability, maintain inventory, communicate objectives, and partner on events/adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership in high-volume settings, pet industry knowledge, and skills in financial oversight, team motivation, and process improvement. Passion for pets and customer-centric mindset required.
