Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture with feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for associates, pets, and customers; manage pet parent interactions; conduct safety walks; oversee inventory and compliance; review cameras for coaching.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze metrics and root causes; execute corporate strategies; partner on events and community initiatives.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, financial oversight, and pet retail knowledge. Key skills include effective delegation, conflict resolution, data-driven decision-making, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment.
