Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision by driving culture, achieving targets, delivering exceptional service, and ensuring efficient daily execution in our Leduc location.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build open-door culture and respond to feedback.
• Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain standards, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, and prioritize safety for associates, pets, and customers.
• Operational Excellence: Collaborate on events, review cameras for compliance, communicate objectives, and take immediate action on pet health issues.

Experience & Skills

Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial savvy, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, conflict resolution, and fostering engagement while adapting to dynamic environments.
