Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, drive results, and ensure exceptional service while fostering a high-performing team.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead people functions: recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, reviews, and succession planning.
- Deliver outstanding store experiences, prioritizing pet safety, customer satisfaction, and operational excellence.
- Manage business performance by executing strategies, analyzing metrics, and achieving profitability goals.
- Ensure compliance with policies, conduct safety audits, inventory management, and event partnerships.
- Build an engaging culture through recognition, feedback, and empowerment.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership, customer focus, and operational savvy. Key skills include team building, financial acumen, problem-solving, and a passion for pets. Experience in pet retail is a plus.

- Conduct store walks, camera reviews, and safety audits
