Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) oversees all store operations, including safety, pet parent experiences, financial performance, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision by fostering a high-engagement team environment, executing strategies, and delivering exceptional service in a fast-paced pet retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, conduct reviews, and build an open-door culture using feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions, events, and compliance via monthly walks and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Analyze performance metrics, optimize inventory, drive profitability, and execute corporate strategies.
Experience & Skills
