Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for store safety, pet parent experience, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; foster open-door culture; deliver reviews and recognition.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews.
- Operations & Finance: Maintain inventory levels; communicate objectives; partner on events and adoption groups; enforce policies.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial savvy, and pet care knowledge. Must excel in delegation, problem-solving, and creating positive environments.
