Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial performance, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions; conduct safety walks and camera reviews; oversee events and inventory.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; maintain compliance and standards.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership abilities, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Key skills include team building, conflict resolution, operational efficiency, and adaptability to flexible schedules.
