Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture with engagement tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for associates, pets, and customers; manage pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; oversee events and inventory compliance.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; cascade objectives; respond to market changes; partner with leadership for optimal outcomes.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management, strong leadership in high-volume settings, expertise in team building and customer service, financial acumen, and a passion for pets. Proficiency in operations, safety protocols, and driving results is essential.
