Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial performance, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, strategies, and values to deliver exceptional service, efficient execution, and targeted business results in a dynamic pet retail setting.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture with engagement tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; manage pet parent interactions; lead events and community partnerships; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews for compliance.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; maintain inventory; oversee opening/closing procedures and safe environments.
Experience & Skills
