Key Responsibilities
People Leadership
Handle employment decisions including recruiting, hiring, coaching, and terminations. Foster an open-door culture, manage scheduling, facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning. Delegate effectively, cascade information, and celebrate team achievements to boost engagement.
Overall Store Experience
Lead pet parent interactions across channels, ensure pet safety and health, and build a positive store environment. Conduct monthly walks, monitor compliance, manage inventory, review cameras for safety, and collaborate on events with adoption groups.
Business Management
Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance metrics, communicate objectives, and adapt to changing priorities while maintaining high standards.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in retail management, strong leadership in team building and HR, expertise in customer service, financial oversight, and pet retail operations.
