Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and all HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, reviews, recognition, training, and succession planning. Foster open communication, delegate effectively, and boost associate engagement.
• Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions across channels, ensure pet safety, maintain store standards, conduct safety walks, manage inventory, and review cameras for compliance and coaching.
• Operations & Finance: Collaborate on events, prioritize safety, communicate objectives, and respond to changing priorities for optimal results.

Experience & Skills

Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong people skills, pet care knowledge, and ability to drive results. Key skills include team building, customer service, operational efficiency, HR management, and financial oversight. Passion for pets and commitment to safety are essential.
