Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive oversight of store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, and deliver exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and foster an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; lead customer interactions; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews for compliance.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; manage inventory and events.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, and operations. Key skills include financial acumen, conflict resolution, and a passion for pets. Experience in pet retail is a plus.
