Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operational execution, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key targets, deliver exceptional service, and ensure efficient daily operations while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open communication and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions; ensure pet safety and health; maintain store standards; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; manage events and inventory.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance; communicate objectives; prioritize safety and compliance.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets. Must thrive in dynamic environments, delegate effectively, and drive results through empowerment.

- Conduct store walks, camera reviews, and drive continuous improvement initiatives
