Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, drive targeted results, deliver exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, reviews, training, and succession planning. Foster an open-door culture, address grievances, and celebrate team achievements.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, conduct monthly walks, review cameras for compliance, and collaborate on events with adoption groups.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance, manage inventory, communicate objectives, and respond to changing environments.
Experience & Skills
