Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build an open-door culture with recognition and feedback.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions; conduct compliance walks; oversee inventory and events; review cameras for safety coaching.
- Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability; analyze performance metrics; communicate objectives; optimize processes for efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership in high-volume environments, pet industry knowledge, financial acumen, and expertise in team motivation. Proficiency in operations, customer service, and compliance is essential. Must thrive in dynamic settings with flexible scheduling.
