Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, and deliver exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; foster open communication and high engagement through recognition and feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; manage pet parent interactions, conduct safety walks, oversee inventory, and lead events with adoption partners.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and maintain compliance via policy audits and camera reviews.
