Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, drive targeted outcomes, and build an exceptional store environment in Metairie.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; conduct reviews, foster engagement, and handle grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; deliver outstanding customer service; conduct safety walks and camera reviews; manage openings/closings.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze performance; maintain inventory; partner on events and adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, and operations. Key skills include financial acumen, compliance knowledge, and passion for pets. Experience in pet retail is a plus.
