Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates; facilitate reviews, recognition, and succession planning; build open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent and associate experiences; ensure pet safety; manage escalations; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory and camera reviews.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; execute corporate strategies; partner on events and community initiatives; maintain compliance.
Experience & Skills
Seeking proven leaders with retail management experience, strong team-building skills, customer service passion, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, communication, problem-solving, and fostering engagement in a fast-paced environment. Flexible scheduling required.
