Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Drive company culture, achieve results, champion service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, develop associates, conduct reviews, and build an open-door culture using feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy pets; deliver exceptional service; manage escalations; conduct Core and Services Walks; oversee inventory and safety via camera reviews.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and partner on events like adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates have retail management experience, strong leadership, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and pet industry knowledge. Key skills include team building, operational efficiency, conflict resolution, and adaptability to flexible schedules.
