Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage complaints, conduct safety walks, and oversee inventory.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and partner on events like adoptions.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, and operations. Key skills include financial acumen, pet safety knowledge, conflict resolution, and adaptability to flexible schedules. Passion for pets and community impact required.
