Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key targets, deliver exceptional service, and execute daily business efficiently while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open communication and high engagement.
• Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; oversee events and compliance.
• Business Management: Drive profitability and corporate strategies; analyze performance; optimize inventory and operations; communicate objectives to the team.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years of retail management experience, strong leadership in high-volume settings, expertise in team development and customer service, and a passion for pets.
