Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; foster open communication and high engagement through reviews, recognition, and succession planning.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions, conduct monthly walks, monitor cameras, and lead events with adoption partners.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability by analyzing performance, optimizing inventory, communicating objectives, and adapting to business needs.
