Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open communication and high engagement.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers; manage pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; oversee events and compliance.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; optimize inventory and operations; communicate objectives to drive results.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership in high-volume environments, pet industry knowledge, and skills in financial oversight, team motivation, and customer-centric problem-solving. Flexibility for varied shifts is essential.
