Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while driving exceptional service and efficient daily execution.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, and develop associates; foster open communication and high engagement through recognition and feedback tools.
• Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; deliver outstanding pet parent service in-store, online, and via phone; conduct safety walks and compliance checks.
• Business Management: Analyze performance metrics, execute corporate strategies for profitability, manage inventory, and lead events with community partners like adoption groups.

Experience & Skills

Ideal candidates bring retail management experience, strong leadership in team building and motivation, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets.
