Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial performance, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's vision, mission, and values while driving exceptional service and efficient daily execution in a dynamic pet retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture using Voice of Associate feedback.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health, deliver outstanding pet parent service, conduct monthly Core and Services Walks, and maintain compliance with policies.
- Business Management: Analyze performance metrics, execute corporate strategies for profitability, manage inventory, review security footage for safety, and lead store events with community partners.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring retail management experience, strong leadership to empower teams, customer service expertise, financial acumen, and passion for pets.
