Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, deliver exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding our vision, mission, values, and strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Handle recruiting, hiring, coaching, scheduling, reviews, training, and succession planning. Foster an open-door culture, address grievances, and celebrate team achievements.
• Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets, associates, and customers. Manage pet parent interactions, conduct monthly walks, review cameras for safety, and maintain inventory standards.
• Business Management: Drive profitability, analyze performance, execute corporate strategies, and collaborate on events like adoption partnerships. Oversee opening/closing and policy compliance.
