Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll champion PetSmart's culture, achieve key results, and deliver exceptional service while upholding our vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; manage schedules, reviews, and engagement; foster an open-door culture.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; lead customer service across channels; conduct safety walks and camera reviews; partner on events and adoptions.
- Business Management: Drive profitability through strategy execution; analyze metrics and root causes; maintain inventory and operational standards.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, and P&L management. Key skills include delegation, conflict resolution, data-driven decision-making, and passion for pets. Flexible availability required.
