Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager provides leadership oversight for safety, pet parent experience, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve targets, and ensure efficient daily execution while upholding our vision, mission, and values in a dynamic pet retail environment.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, schedule, mentor, and develop associates; conduct reviews and address grievances to build engagement.
• Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain standards, and conduct monthly walks for compliance.
• Operations & Finance: Manage inventory, review cameras for safety, communicate objectives, and respond to sick pets immediately.
• Community & Events: Partner with adoption groups and execute in-store events for positive outcomes.

Experience & Skills

Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, strong team-building skills, customer service expertise, and pet industry knowledge. Must excel in delegation, financial oversight, compliance, and fostering an open-door culture. Experience in high-volume retail and employee development preferred.
