Role Overview

The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key results, champion exceptional service, and ensure efficient daily execution while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, values, and strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster an open-door culture and address grievances.
• Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, maintain store standards, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, review cameras for safety, and handle pet health issues.
• Business Management: Execute corporate strategies for profitability, analyze performance, communicate objectives, and collaborate on events like adoption partnerships.

Experience & Skills
