Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture using feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, conduct compliance walks, manage inventory, and prioritize a safe environment.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability, analyze performance metrics, communicate objectives, and collaborate on events.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, financial oversight, and pet retail operations. Key skills include effective delegation, conflict resolution, data-driven decision-making, and fostering high engagement in dynamic settings.
