Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, financial results, and HR functions. You'll drive company culture, achieve key targets, champion exceptional service, and execute daily business while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; foster open-door culture and address grievances.
- Store Experience: Ensure safe, healthy environments for pets and people; lead pet parent interactions; conduct monthly walks and camera reviews; manage inventory and events.
- Business Management: Deliver profitability goals; analyze performance; communicate objectives; optimize processes for efficiency.
Experience & Skills
Seeking leaders with 3+ years in retail management, expertise in team building, customer service, financial oversight, and operations. Pet care passion, flexibility for varied shifts, and strong problem-solving are essential. You'll excel in a dynamic environment prioritizing safety, engagement, and results.
