Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules; facilitate reviews, training, and succession planning; build engagement through recognition and open communication.
- Store Experience: Ensure pet safety and health; deliver outstanding customer service; conduct monthly walks; maintain compliance; manage inventory and events; review cameras for safety.
- Business Management: Execute strategies for profitability; analyze metrics; communicate objectives; adapt to changing priorities; partner on community initiatives.
Experience & Skills
Ideal candidates bring 3+ years in retail management, strong leadership, pet care knowledge, financial acumen, and customer focus. Key skills include team motivation, operational efficiency, conflict resolution, and data-driven decision-making. Flexibility for varied shifts is essential.
