Role Overview
The Retail Store Manager (Store Leader) provides comprehensive leadership over store safety, pet parent experiences, operations, finances, and HR functions. You'll drive company strategies, champion exceptional service, and ensure efficient daily execution while upholding PetSmart's vision, mission, and values.
Key Responsibilities
- People Leadership: Recruit, hire, coach, and develop associates; create schedules, facilitate reviews, and build an open-door culture using feedback tools.
- Store Experience: Lead pet parent interactions, ensure pet safety, conduct monthly walks, manage inventory, and prioritize a safe environment.
- Business Management: Achieve profitability goals, analyze performance, execute corporate strategies, and collaborate on events like adoption partnerships.
Experience & Skills
